We have TukTuk. For those of you who doesn’t know what TukTuk is. It’s a 3-wheeled vehicle that is the king of the road in some parts of the world. It’s not the most luxurious ride, but it got character! You will feel like riding a rollercoaster but WITHOUT the safety harness. You will be holding on for your dear life as you go through traffic and take corners. If you love some thrill, TukTuk is for you.Thai food?If you want to know what Thailand taste like… Get yourself a bowl of Tom Yum Kung. It’s sweet, sour, spicy and savory explosion in your mouth. You’ll get hit by the flavour bomb. Worth a try.What about Spirit possession?I know what you are thinking… Are we living in the Stephen King Novel right now? But this is the real-life stuff that happens in rural area in Thailand. We Thai people believe that the animal spirit can possess your body and take control of your action. But this is not all the bad news. Actually, some want to be possessed. As we believe that the animal spisit will protect you from bad luck and be your friends as well. The best part is you get to choose your own animal spirit that represent you and your desired future self like you want to be more powerful, choose a tiger as your animal spirit. After choosing, you’ll go through some ritual to invoke the animal spirit. That’s their inner animal spirit.Why I tell you all of this?The reason is… Noe just tech people using NFTs, Thai monks too. You guys now don’t have to fly far away to go through the animal spirit ritual. You can just MINT the NFTs that has been through the ritual. It’s believed to have the same power of protection to a holders. My point is Thai people adapt technology, tools especially NFTs in our local cultures a lot. There are so many project like Another level NFT.Apart from that, Thais use NFTs in business strategy as well!Sale growthCentral increases sale growth around 30 million dollar after launching NFTs. Also they get the new target customers, the younger generation with the tech savvy as well.DemocracyYou might not be aware of Thai government situation. We don’t have democracy for almost 10 years. Since May, 2014, The Thai military led by General Prayut staged the coup, took control of the government. The military dissolved the parliament, suspended the constitution and arrested so many political leaders. Since then, we have no rights to share. No freedom. No opinion. The best part is there will be our first election next month. We also use NFTs as a way to fund and make election process more transparent and sustainable.\ This NFT is called “The Watcher NFT“TourismYou can now travel and collect NFTs at many tourist destinations. That NFT can be used as a discount for restaurant, cafe, and other places. It makes travel more fun!
