# Cruel, Charming, Recluse Thief **Published by:** [Rahul Pathak](https://paragraph.com/@pathak/) **Published on:** 2022-01-26 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@pathak/cruel-charming-recluse-thief ## Content So, as promised, here’s the second part of the poem I posted in last blogpost. That glare's so intense, even I flinched, This ruffian is about to get lynched. As he notices, he takes a flight, And now I am left, in a corner more tight. So charming he is, and full of chivalry, But such a recluse, always solitary. And I am now blanked out, staring at him, With eyes dreamy, heart singing his hymn. I come to senses, and say him my thanks, But he too is staring, at me point blank. He is deaf now, and I blush crimson, And drop my gaze, then hear him run. Wait, the story's not over, for I know now, My heart is goner, behind him in a tow. That cruel charming recluse, he is now a thief, Let him think an excuse, as his answer to the sheriff. - Nimitta ## Publication Information - [Rahul Pathak](https://paragraph.com/@pathak/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@pathak/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@pathak): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/rahul1031pathak): Follow on Twitter
