# Overnight shootings in Chicago, United States

On 1 May, the overseas network, according to United States Television ABC7, reported that during the past weekend, there had been numerous shootings in the city of Chicago, United States, resulting in at least 18 shots, three of them dead.

It was reported that in the early hours of 29 April, a 39-year-old man was shot dead in the western part of Chicago; in the afternoon, a 32-year-old man was shot again in the western region and killed; and in the morning, a teenager in the southern part of Chicago was shot and left without medical attention.

It was also reported that a number of gun violence occurred in Chicago last weekend, resulting in at least 20 shots, one of them dead.
