Each work of art will be fractionalised into NFTs, each representing a real share of ownership in the work of art. These NFTs will then be sold into the market and the funds raised through this, as well as a portion of the royalties earned through the ongoing trading of the NFTs, will be used to acquire further works of art creating an evergreen and ever-growing collection chosen by the community for the community. CHOSEN ------ Our token holders (Patrons) consist of art lovers and blockchainphiles. Empowered by art specialists and data science, the Patrons are the curators of the collection, ensuring that the works of art acquired represent the taste of the people, and that the overall collection is a reflection of the times we live in. GOVERNED -------- We are self-governed through the power of a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation, ensuring that the will of our Patrons is consistently followed. We believe in the wisdom of the crowd; who better to decide the vision and direction of the DAO and its collection than its Patrons? ADMINISTERED ------------ All works of art acquired will be administered by a Foundation. The Foundation will act as custodian and hold the physical rights to the works of art ensuring that the collection stays in the public sphere for all to enjoy in perpetuity. Steered by the Patrons through its governance mechanisms of the DAO, the Foundation will be responsible for all operational management of the collection and will act as the IRL counterparty to all art transactions. OWNED ----- All works of art acquired will be fractionalised in the form of artNFTs, each representing a real share of ownership in the artwork. These NFTs will be sold into the market allowing anyone to become a collector, thereby increasing the participation in and democratisation of the art world\*.\* TRADED ------ NFT holders will be able to buy and sell their NFTs in the market thereby creating a liquid and transparent process, allowing greater participation in the art market for all. Fractionalisation of works of art lowers the cost base to invest and increases the frequency of trading and liquidity for works that would otherwise only change hands every few decades.
