# Is Farcaster it?

gm, We had a spirited discussion in the Heni discord as to whether or not Farcaster is it. Here’s one of my comments: One more. The very definition of technology is that it’s constantly changing. Code is never finished. Clearly, social media v1 has run its course. We need mo better. Crypto has shown us what’s possible. What a decentralized world can look like. I believe we have to be the change we want to see. That means we’re not going to get it right the first time, same as v1 code isn’t right. But what we can’t do, is “wait”. “Ain't no time to hate Barely time to wait Woah, oh, what I want to know Where does the time go?”
