For the time being, that definition should suffice.

An extremely reasonable man.

Which is precisely why some people fear him.

Please don't call him an idealist.

He would immediately start defining the term.

  

BUBA

Should someone explain tech to him, he will probably listen politely.

Then he'll ask the only question that matters.  

NDAYE

You will probably like her immediately.

There is nothing suspicious about that.  

BORIS

People often notice him too late.

  

RAJ

Is connected.

Nobody knows how.  

AMARA

Arguments improve considerably after disagreeing with her.

  

CHANG

He believes every problem has a precise solution.

He has not yet met all the problems.

  

SOFIA

She improves the arguments she disagrees with.

Experience has encouraged the nasty habit.

  

THE MANTEROS

They live and sell things.  

THE ACCELERATIONISTS

They are remarkably impatient.

History rarely shares the sentiment.

  

THE ENFORCERS

Most of them are decent people.

That is partly what makes them so scary.

  

CHANCE

It does not appear in person.

Most witnesses nevertheless insist it was present.

  

One final remark.

I have taken the liberty of introducing everyone before they meet one another.

It won't help very much.

You will still meet them in the wrong order.
