# Down the Rabbithole **Published by:** [Patrick Workman](https://paragraph.com/@phishfood/) **Published on:** 2021-11-22 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@phishfood/down-the-rabbithole ## Content I spent yesterday going deep down the Rabbithole using Rabbithole.gg. Their model is genius…help new projects onboard crypto enthusiasts through games. Rabbithole is being used by these projects the same way companies have been using Facebook ads, reaching people who are likely to engage with their product/service. Yesterday I learned…The value of testing small: I realized I didn’t need to move large pools of tokens from Ethereum <> Polygon <> Celo. There’s a disadvantage to going big in the form of stress (it takes awhile for these transactions to clear), so I’m going to dabble with smaller amounts from now on.Ethereum gas is ridiculous: Like f’ing crazy. I probably burned $750+ in gas using Ethereum for staking and buying NFTs. Serious web3 as a dialup modem vibes. Compare this to Polygon and Celo gas and it’s easy to see where the technology needs to be to be a viable consumer option.Staking is confusing: I pooled some SAND / ETH + provided liquidity for SAND Uniswap V2. $3k USD of SAND /ETH has produced $55 in fees in 24 hours. I don’t know where this money is coming from.Discord is my friend: The levels of support within these communities is A+. When I run into a wall, the solution is a quick message to the right Discord server. Response times have been less than an hour. ## Publication Information - [Patrick Workman](https://paragraph.com/@phishfood/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@phishfood/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@phishfood): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/PatrickWorkman): Follow on Twitter
