All the world's a staging area.

It’s October 15, the first anniversary of a big day — the day I secretly released my song, Gimme Proof. It’s a dramatic tale of hardship and pain. It has something for everyone: math, jokes, logjams. It even has nothing for everyone: nil, nada, zilch. One year ago today was also the day I found a safe place for my old composition books.

After I woke up from my dream, I realized I was not a butterfly, and I was not Chuang Tzu. I was still Pickleheart Liverthief. As I began feeding my composition books into their new home, they got chewed up and rearranged.

But I forgot something important. I had written the words to my song on the last page of the last composition book. As the page was sucked into the machine, I felt my words being rearranged; and because I was singing along, I got sucked into the machine and pixelated.

Now I’m confused again.

I don’t know if I’m in the machine or the real world.

But wherever I am, I love it.
