Allow me to introduce myself…

The name is Joseph, born in Canada, loves red wine, vintage watches, dogs and design. I own and operate a catering company [(Major League Catering)](https://www.majorleaguecatering.com/), I also invested in a delicious bubble sparkling water company [Barbet](https://drinkbarbet.com/). Recently I co-founded PLTFRM where I operate as our CEO and product lead.

PLTFRM team members will always remain, doxxed.

Back to whoiam and how I got here.

NFTs are very much a new thing (to most people). You either get it, love it, or hate it. Most of the time, I find myself trying to provide alternative answers to questions that don’t seem so unreasonable. I tell people “it’s not only about selling art, or trading an apes in space”, it’s a tool, a system, a revolutionized way of storing and transferring data (It’s everything). Art, legal, music, contracts, bonds, trusts, wills and more all manifesting into a decentralized, peer-to-peer consensus future.

That’s why I want to introduce [pltfrm.co](https://pltfrm.co/)

As an industry professional for the past 14 years, I have seen web2 grow. Along the way I was lucky to be a part of projects like [www.jeep.com](http://www.jeep.com), Cadillac Fairview App, Seen Dating App, Ostendo.com and more. I even launched a private shopify clothing label for Dallas Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott.

I started as an Art Director but soon realized, everything would become digital. So I packed my pencils and applied to “Sapient Nitro”. Here I got to work with like minded, digital creatives who believed in the power of tech. The experience was nothing but amazing, the projects, the problems we were solving and the people. I am still very close with friends I worked with (ex. we have an 8 year old group chat going). But fast forward, years later, with over 50 websites, 4 iOS apps and god knows how many other things launched, I’m here.

Excited to add PLTFRM to that list.

PLTFRM was a combination of ideas and strategy my co-founder and CTO had been working on for what feels like years. Through these trials, we wanted to build a product we knew could be useful, easy to use and collaborative. What ended up sparking the idea… NFTs. With previous ideas and even prototypes, we knew that NFTs would become a global industry with thousands of opportunities. It was just figuring out where we wanted to start.

So came PLTFRM. An idea that we were familiar with in our own industry. Easier, faster, collaborative products that anyone can do themselves, no dev, no designer. Sign up and go. So from there we worked on ideas and white boarded who knows how many concepts of what PLTFRM would be. Starting from a personalized market place, to a white labeled store front for art studios. We soon realized that one of the biggest hurdles in the NFT space was launching them, not selling them on secondary markets like open sea and foundation. It was pre all that.

Which is why, PLTFRM provides you with all the necessary tools to create and launch a blind box NFT collection – no coding required.

What’s a blind box?

NFTs that use an autonomous system, with a common visual style and varying levels of rarity sold one at a time, at a fixed price. All major collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Cool Cats, Pudgy Penguins, used a blind box style in recent years.

PLTFRM was built for artists, creatives, brands and community managers. Our goal is to provide an easy, yet collaborative product that allows anyone the ability to start a NFT collection/brand.

Enough said, I will update my profile/story as we grow, thank you for listening.
