# Ball and chains calling

---

In a world of screens, we find ourselves confined,

ained to our devices, hearts and souls mal.

The cell phone, once a tool, now a ball and chain,

Keeping us captive, numbing our senses with its reign.

Gone are the days handshakes warm and sincere,

Now we tilt our heads down, succumbing to our fear.

Expression reduced to emojis, shallow and cold,

Forgetting the beauty of words, profound stories untold.

With each passing moment, we miss life's grand display,

Lost in the digital realm, love and joy fade away.

The world around us, a masterpiece of creation,

But we're blind to its wonders, lost in our fixation.

Oh, let us break free from this technologic tether,

Embrace the richness of life, its joys and weather.

Put down the phone, lift up your head, take a glance,

Rediscover the magic in every fleeting chance.

For life's true beauty lies beyond that glowing screen,

In connections real, experienced and seen.

Unchain yourself, embrace the world awaiting,

And let your soul soar, liberated and elating.
