poem

---

In the depths of a year that tested our souls,

Where vulnerability stood, like burning coals,

I learned the fragility of love's tender embrace,

And the depths of grief, etched upon my face.

But amidst the pain, a grace was found,

In letting go, in release unbound,

For sometimes, dear heart, it's in surrender we find,

The strength to heal, and leave the past behind.

And hidden within the longing to stay,

Lies a flicker of hope, guiding the way,

For when we yearn for what might have been,

New beginnings emerge, like petals in a dream.

So let us embrace the lessons we've learned,

For through love and loss, our souls have yearned,

To find the beauty in vulnerability's embrace,

And discover resilience, rising from grace.

Though this year has tested our every core,

We stand here stronger than ever before,

With hearts open wide, and spirits anew,

Ready to face what tomorrow will bring, true.

For vulnerability holds the power to heal,

To bridge divides and make our hearts feel,

And as we journey forth, hand in hand,

Let us cherish the lessons, and together we'll stand.

In the year that taught us both joy and strife,

We'll navigate life's waters, with courage and life,

For vulnerability, though dangerous it may be,

Unveils the beauty of our humanity.
