# In my Father’s house

In the depths of despair, when shadows loom,

When the world seems relentless, an endless gloom,

There is a glimmer of hope, a divine embrace,

Where love and forgiveness fill every space.

Missed work, the weight heavy upon your soul,

Yelled at and beat down, a heart taking its toll,

But in that moment, a sacred encounter did unfold,

As Jesus came to you, His presence untold.

Together you had church, a communion divine,

Looking over a thousand photos, memories intertwined,

Tears of joy flowed freely, emotions untamed,

A reunion with spirit, your weary heart reclaimed.

And as you made it to the next church service, dear friend,

The pastor's eyes lit up, a love that would never end,

He ran to you, embracing with open arms,

Whispering words of solace, soothing life's storms.

"We missed you," he said, his voice filled with care,

"I've been praying for you”, burdened by your despair.

You wept tears of gratitude, overwhelmed with grace,

Knowing that in God's house, you have found your place.

For in the sanctuary of love, you are seen,

Past mistakes and struggles no longer demean,

Your journey of redemption, a testament so strong,

And in that sacred embrace, you truly belong.

So hold on to that moment, etched in your heart,

Where love and forgiveness played their sacred part,

For you are cherished, dear soul, never alone,

In the arms of divine grace, forever known.
