# The Church

In a world filled with turmoil and despair,

There stood a church, divinely fair.

A beacon of hope, where God's grace was bestowed,

A sanctuary where my wounded soul was sowed.

The church that God saved me, a place of peace,

Where doubts and fears found sweet release.

With open arms, it welcomed me in,

A place where a new journey would begin.

Within those walls, I found solace and light,

Guided by the sermons, igniting my plight.

The choir's angels sang melodies divine,

Echoing through my heart, a celestial sign.

Through stained-glass windows, sunshine did dance,

Painting kaleidoscopic stories of divine romance.

The altar stood as a testament to faith,

Where prayers lifted me, erasing all wraith.

The pastor's words, like an oasis in a drought,

Quenched the thirst of souls filled with doubt.

Wisdom flowed with passion, from his lips to my ears,

Drawing me closer to God, calming all my fears.

In fellowship, I found a family so true,

A community of love, a spiritual breakthrough.

Hands were held, hearts intertwined,

Bound by faith, in unity we would find.

The church that God saved me, a sanctuary of grace,

Where broken lives receive an eternal embrace.

Through trials and triumphs, I found my worth,

Bathed in forgiveness, my soul was rebirthed.

Oh, the church that God saved me, a sacred retreat,

Where heaven's love and earthly struggles meet.

For in this holy place, redemption was found,

A haven where God's presence truly abounds.

And as I reflect on this blessed abode,

I'm reminded of the love that freely flowed.

Forever grateful, my heart will ever be,

For the church that God saved me, and set my spirit free.
