# Wisdom’s blessing **Published by:** [The poet guy](https://paragraph.com/@poems/) **Published on:** 2023-12-25 **Categories:** poem **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@poems/wisdoms-blessing ## Content Ah, the tale of the three wise men, so divine, With gifts in hand, they journeyed through time. Guided by a star, bright and luminary, To the humble stable, where the child lay, wary. Gold, a treasure fit for a king's crown, Symbolizing wealth and worth renowned. In homage to the newborn King, they bestowed, This precious metal, a gift that glowed. Frankincense, an aromatic resin so pure, Offering fragrant prayers, devout and sure. A symbol of divinity, a spiritual plea, For blessings and grace, for all to see. Myrrh, a resin with a bittersweet scent, A symbol of sacrifice, a life well spent. Foreshadowing the pain that lay ahead, The death and resurrection, in bloodshed. Their gifts, not mere trinkets, but symbols profound, A story of faith, love, and truths unbound. Of seeking, of finding, of worship untold, In the presence of the One, whose love unfolds. These wise men, with hearts full and bright, They recognized the moment, bathed in light. Their gifts, a testimony, an act so grand, Revealing their belief in the infant's plan. So let us remember, this tale so true, Of the three wise men, and what they knew. That in seeking with earnest hearts aflame, We too can find the divine, and in His name. May we bring our gifts, whatever they may be, To honor and worship, the One we long to see. For in giving of ourselves, in love sincere, We join the wise men's chorus, year after year. ## Publication Information - [The poet guy](https://paragraph.com/@poems/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@poems/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@poems): Subscribe to updates ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@poems/wisdoms-blessing): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@poems/wisdoms-blessing/collectors): See who has collected this post
