# Grandkids Times Two

Within a month, our family added two grandkids to the stable. One girl, Gwyneth Clair, whom we will call “Wyn,” and Walker Robert. My wife and I were able to fly to Chicago so I could see them. I was able to see the other two little boys, too. One of them had a birthday. He turned two. Wyn is six weeks now, and Walker is just over a week. Here they are meeting their “Gumpa” for the first time. Grandkids are a blast, but you don’t get them unless you have kids! My wife and I had all our kids by the time she was thirty. Kids are getting married later now. We got married when we were 24, and we didn’t have life figured out. Those of you who read this who have grandkids can relay your stories and emotions about them. It’s hard to explain. It’s different than your kids. It is unfathomable to me to see how the Democratic Party has infringed on the rights of women when it comes to things like athletics. They have a perverse sense of fairness. In Nebraska, it’s on the ballot. My friend Senator Pete Ricketts tweeted about it today. In Nevada, we will have a chance to vote on it, and I hope you turn out in masses to keep men out of women’s sports. The girls who have to compete against boys pay a huge price on the field of play and in the locker room. It’s unjust and un-American.
