The manic within me a bejeweled pithy pity that pretties itself with mental confetti and touts crystal clarity So it can destroy every notion when the shadow comes knocking and the shutters start closing and it sticks its nose in and the next thing you know it’s prying up floorboards so it can expose the blood and the bones while it rips off the skin but leaves on the clothes as it spins the same record and says welcome home . .
