introduction
------------

Opside is a three-layer architecture platform that deals with ZK-Rollups. You can bridge your desired assets from layer one blockchains like Ethereum and SmartChain to the second layer named Opside Chain, which is an EVM-compatible rollup-friendly network optimized with ZK-Rollups.

### consensus in opinion based on both PoS and PoW :

* PoS: Users who stake their assets will become validators and will enjoy rewards from gas spent on the network.

* PoW: users who dedicate their power consumers can generate batches and proofs for L3 zk-rollups and send them to L2, where they will become validators and enjoy rewards from spending gas in the network.

Third Layer creates an environment with high TPS and low gas for other developers to bring their projects onto the network and build their work. Projects like web3 games, social apps, and DEXs can benefit from running their applications on pre-deployed general-purpose rollups or launching their own application-specific rollups on rollup slots (with some economic models). Then applications are running fully on-chain without concern for servers.

The network uses a solution named PoVP, which stands for (Proof-of-Validity-Proof, to support different zk-EVMs, which allows anyone with computing power to compete for the next batch and proof of a zk-rollup.

### Advantages :

* Maximum security: with the help of ZK-Bridge, transferring assets will take place easily and fully securely from L1 to L2 and vice versa, and also L3s will enjoy the security of L2.

* Scalability: because of the ascendancy of choosing and using multiple different rollups that we have, we will witness huge scalability.

* Diversity of assets: Regarding the capability of building multiple bridges in different L1 chains, we can enjoy the diversity of assets that we can use, and we will also benefit from the low-gas, high-speed, and secure experience of the ZK-bridge.

### An example of a use case :

We can deploy multiple divers games on L3 while avoiding congestion of the network by using different rollups and transferring the heat of buying and selling game items and NFTs to L2. also we can do that to web3 social platforms and building high speed projects for mass adaption.

Testnet
-------

Currently, Opside is in the testnet phase. You can check their [discord](https://discord.gg/RbSwSYvs) for more information about the roadmap and other stuff, but for now, I will give you a simple testnet guide to make it easy for you to do it. You can also check their tutorial YouTube [video,](https://docs.opside.network/user-guides/video-tutorial) which is helpful.

The first step is to get your faucet listed on their official faucet page. Head to the faucet page, connect your wallet, and you can add the Opside chain automatically to your wallet by connecting and accepting the pop-up that your wallet will prompt. then press the submit button, and you can see your transaction TX in the transaction list below.

then you have to bridge some sepolia to opchain through this [link](https://bridge-testnet.opside.network/). Of course, you need some sepolia eth, and you can get it from the Infura [faucet](https://www.infura.io/faucet). Now connect your wallet and bridge some ETH from Sepolia to Opchain.

L1 , L2 bridge

Now that you have some assets in the L2 opchain, you can bridge some to the L3 opchain. For now, there are zk-EVM, normal swap, and cryptoblades for this purpose. Select your bridged WETH and send it to one of these three options. First, you have to approve the asset before you can transact with it, and then you can submit the bridge transaction. On the L2 opchain, IDE is required to cover the gas fees that have accrued.

you can also provide liquidity with tokens that you have got from faucet in [pool page](https://liquid-bridge-testnet.opside.network/pool). head to the pool page, choose opside network, enter your desired amount, approve the spending amount in your wallet and execute the transaction. you can also remove your LP in remove tab whenever you want.

in [bridge tab](https://liquid-bridge-testnet.opside.network/) you can bridge VTP you got from faucet between ETH Goerli, Polygon Mumbai and Opside test networks and provide liquidity in those networks as well.

You can repeat these steps in reverse and have interaction with the project and have FUN.

goodluck.
