I have researching a lot about web3, after a lot of thinking and rigorous reading I have made sense of what web3 truly unlocks. In simple words, it’s Ownership. Since the beginning(1990-2005) of the open protocol HTTP a lot of things have changed, it took humans a good while to realize that the internet can be much more than just read-only. Came the revolution of the web2 world, things started to move online allowing early movers advantage to companies which started out early and stayed consistent in terms of their performance like google, apple, microsoft. As the internet evolved and got less open and with private companies locking their revenue algorithm behind code.
