1.  Add “AltLayer Beacon Testnet” to Metamask
    
2.  Claim Altlayer $ALT faucet
    
3.  Stake on Beacon Layer
    
4.  Stake on Rollup staking portal

⚡ Step 1: Add “AltLayer Beacon Testnet” to Metamask

Network name: `AltLayer Beacon Testnet`

New RPC URL: `https://testnet-beacon-api.altlayer.io`

Chain ID: `9993`

Currency symbol: `ALT`

Block Explorer URL: `https://testnet-beacon-explorer.altlayer.io`

⚡ Step 2: Claim Altlayer $ALT faucet

⚡ Step 3: Stake on Beacon Layer

*   Go to: [https://testnet-beacon-stake.altlayer.io](https://testnet-beacon-stake.altlayer.io/)
    
*   Click on “Manage Delegation”

*   Select a validator > Enter ALT token amount > Delegate
    
*   Done! You have successfully staked on Beacon Layer.

⚡ Step 4: Stake on Rollup staking portal

*   Switch the chain to Sepolia (If you can’t see it, go to Metamask settings > Advance > Show test networks).
    
*   Claim Sepolia ETH (Skip if you already have): [https://sepoliafaucet.com](https://sepoliafaucet.com/)

*   Now deposit some Sepolia ETH to get WETH: [https://weth.altlayer.io/transfer](https://weth.altlayer.io/transfer)

*   Finally go to the staking portal: [https://testnet-staking.altlayer.io](https://testnet-staking.altlayer.io/)
    
*   Select a node operator > Enter WETH amount > Approve & Stake
    
*   Done! You have successfully staked on the Rollup staking portal.
