美國昨日（11）晚間公布 7 月消費者物價指數（CPI）數據：年增率 8.5%，較 6 月的 9.1% 大幅回落、也低於市場預期 8.7%，主要受到汽油價格下降，抵消食品和住宅成本增加。據路透社報導，拜登在數據公布後表示：我們看到一些跡象，表示通膨可能開始緩解；但他提到風險仍然還在，「人們依然痛苦」。
