I don't know when, people around me started wearing glasses, and glasses have gradually become one of the epitome of the times.

Glasses are like spare eyes. When people use their eyes improperly and their vision declines, they wear a pair of glasses, and immediately the eyes are clear, as if the thick fog has dissipated. I also have a pair of glasses, which are placed on the bridge of my nose to help me see the world clearly. Glasses are really a good thing.

Walking on the street, you can always see all kinds of glasses. Walking on the campus, glasses can be seen everywhere. When you walk into the glasses store, you can hardly pick out people who don't wear glasses in the crowded crowd. According to this trend, maybe humans will automatically evolve a pair of glasses, which will be installed in front of their eyes as soon as they are born. Isn't it much more convenient?

With the prevalence of glasses, people are less and less cherishing their eyes. Students use their eyes to study day and night, eager to get good grades; Internet addicts stare at computers all the time, using their eyes to maximize entertainment; office workers work overtime, working more than ten hours a day without interruption, just to get a promotion and a raise. Few people care about the feeling of their eyes, because there are backups. The times are gradually moving towards the extreme of pursuing utilitarianism with these people, and the era of extremes has dragged more people into the pursuit of utilitarianism. And the magical thing of glasses is a reactant, a catalyst, and a product in this wonderful reaction of the times.

When people gradually turn a blind eye to this, they avoid a terrible fact that no one dares to face, which is a disability. No matter how practical, beautiful, wise, or powerful the glasses are, they cannot change this fact. Yes, our current pursuit of quick success and instant benefits is also a disability, a spiritual disability. Since the Industrial Revolution, the pace of the times has been getting faster and faster. After the opening of new routes, the whole world has gradually started to run. Everyone is competing for the first place, and no one is willing to fall behind. People began to sacrifice all kinds of beautiful things just for the tiny profits. Sacrifice curiosity, sacrifice free time, sacrifice the beautiful environment given to humans by nature, until sacrificing health, not only physical health, but also mental health.

What is even more frightening is that people's aesthetics have begun to change. Some people even think that wearing glasses is beautiful, and they are willing to spend a lot of money to buy a pair of plain glasses to show their so-called temperament. Little do they know that people who really wear glasses are in pain.

Wake up! People who are lost on the road ahead, take off your glasses and look at yourself, think about your mind that was not framed by glasses, and don't let future generations walk this path unknowingly.

I hope people will no longer rush to wear glasses, and I hope that the era will take off glasses as soon as possible.
