# POW 会消失吗

在考虑这个问题之前，不妨先弄明白POW和POS之类的机制它们的目的是什么。无论是怎样的机制，目的都在于一个：确定一种秩序，一种规则。 用通俗的、人人都能理解的话来解释，确定（或者说维护）秩序这种动作（一种Work），是势必需要消耗能量的。这是绕不过去的。 POW，也即Proof of Work，是现在区块链领域所能想到的、外部能量到达Work最短、最直接的可控又安全的路径。 而POS，是寄望于一种不需要消耗外部能量就可以确定（维护）秩序的状态。所以它采用的是Proof of Stake。妄图用Stake代替Work，大致相当于幻想在现行的工程领域实现一种永动机（为区块链工作）。 解释到这里，POW究竟会不会消失，会消失的是哪个，就很明确了吧。 现在基于低碳的原因，国内是排斥挖矿的。但是考虑到技术层面，也许POW比POS更加可靠。
