# follow-up **Published by:** [raindrop](https://paragraph.com/@raindrop-2/) **Published on:** 2022-11-15 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@raindrop-2/follow-up ## Content 3 years of career, 3 times of progress, 3 times of income doubled in order to facilitate you to understand the follow-up career, I first briefly introduce my experience. After graduate school, my first job is teacher. I majored in news communication. At that time, traditional print media, TV stations, radio stations and even websites were all impacted by "we media", but I did not perceive it at that time. I have been a teacher for three years. If it were not for family reasons, I might not have the courage to leave the stable working environment. My lover, unlike me, has always had great ambitions. My lover is my high school classmate. I married him right after I graduated from graduate school. We have formed a family of "finance man + teacher woman". However, he always has a heart for adventure. Soon after the birth of his child, he went to Shanghai to start his own business and achieved very good results in more than half a year. I struggled for half a year from the first time he asked me to resign and live in Shanghai until I really quit. I have a clear understanding of myself. I accumulated soft skills in school. I may encounter many challenges after I quit my job, but I finally quit my job. When I actually quit, I went through a terrible transition, with low self-worth, a new city where I didn't fit in, and acute family conflicts. All the difficulties I had anticipated were magnified tenfold. Most of the resumes I sent out went unanswered, and I had no one around to teach me how to do it. When I apply for a teaching position, I will be asked if I have any experience in teaching and training large classes. When applying for another position, the person simply asks, "You used to be a teacher. Why are you changing careers now? Can you do it well?" Later, a friend of mine told me that I should write my resume in a targeted way. Never apply for a job. I applied for two jobs with skepticism. Amazingly, I received an interview notice in the afternoon, one from a teaching and training institution and the other from a we-media startup company. Once upon a time, I would have chosen to be a teacher, but after a few months of being whipped by reality, I began to think about my long-term career plan. I realized that I was passionate about my career and that if I left my most stable job, I had to give something back. So I joined the three-month-old startup with my five employees. As soon as I joined the startup, I was offered the position of director of operations. I was terrified, but my boss at the time told me, "I know you're inexperienced, but I liked the business development plan you wrote me after the first interview." After entering the job, I could not adapt to the work rhythm of ten to eight, the size of the week at the beginning, is completely gnawed teeth insist, uncomfortable often go to the bathroom secretly cry, cry after washing the face and sit back to the station. I gritted my teeth and completed the full link design and running of the first knowledge payment project. I spent countless nights at home reading and joining countless operating groups. Three months later, the project I was responsible for had a huge explosion, and the amount of knowledge payment was up to several million yuan. When I get tens of thousands of dollars in project bonuses, and when I get many compliments from my boss, I feel so much more in control of my life. When my job entered the "more money, less close to home" phase, I felt a sense of crisis. We must understand that no company can support idle people. In the real workplace, the company will not give special attention to you because you are a woman, a newcomer, an old man or a meritist. Stability is career stagnation to some extent. At the time of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, I saw the news of online education financing everywhere. I happened to be recruited by a headhunter to be the marketing director of a medium-sized school education company, so I quit decisively and joined the new company. ## Publication Information - [raindrop](https://paragraph.com/@raindrop-2/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@raindrop-2/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@raindrop-2): Subscribe to updates
