# Liars, most **Published by:** [Ram](https://paragraph.com/@ram008/) **Published on:** 2023-10-01 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@ram008/liars-most ## Content How do you deal with liars who clearly and openly lie about their accomplishments? Especially, if they get away with it and unfairly seize positions and opportunities they actually do not deserve. Well, the first and most immature way of dealing with it would indicate that we should call them out. After all, isn’t it fair to report a crime or immorality? Don’t be a bystander? Yes true, but we have to consider the consequences. Are those who we report it to, likely to take action or are they more likely to rat us out to the ones we are reporting? Second, will this lead to a better outcome for the world or a worse outcome just for us? Third, is the system just? Or is the hygiene so bad that it encourages such artificial inflation of credentials? Don’t people just fool themselves into buying a good story about someone’s misery and their journey out of it? Finally, do we ever want to be in the good graces of either party? That is, the one we are reporting about and the one we are saying it to? If the answer is yes, just keep shut.“This is unfair, and so is life.” - Captain Russell in LagaanLet that sink in. If life was anywhere near fair, there would be no comparison, no need to lie, no need for anyone to be moral police. People do all kinds of things to succeed. The moral quartet of narcissism, psychopathy, sadism, and Machiavellian attitudes are out there in proud display in the corporate world, on LinkedIn and in any Meetup or Networking event you go to. So, you stick to your standard and let them do what they want to. At the end of the day, I firmly believe that these things will catch up with people. There is such a thing as karma. So, let them rise up over the dead bodies, seek the carnal pleasures and take a topple, at which point, their savants or sponsors will no longer care about them. When they reflect in their loneliness, they will repent. Do what is right for you, do not compare or worry about people that fake their way. Reality and nature will humble them some day, irrespective of whether you stick around or care to watch. We are but a speck of dust in God’s plan. There is a plan for them, there is a plan and role for us. Extend compassion to such people as they don’t know better. ## Publication Information - [Ram](https://paragraph.com/@ram008/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@ram008/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@ram008): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/r008): Follow on Twitter
