# Tutorial: Running an Nubit Light Node on RapidNode🚀

RapidNode is thrilled to announce support for running a **Nubit Light Node** with just a single click!

Nubit is **a scalable Bitcoin-native data availability layer, secured by Bitcoin**. Nubit enables the scaling of Bitcoin's data capacities without compromises, empowering applications like Ordinals, layer 2s, price oracles, and indexers thus broadening the scope and efficiency of the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The project secured $12 million in funding led by polychain capital.

### **Step 1 - Prepare with Rapid Nodes by Creating an Account:**

1.  Visit the RapidNode platform [here](https://www.rapidnode.xyz/) and sign up to create a new account.
    
2.  Add sufficient credits to purchase a node.

### **Step 2 - Purchasing Nubit Node**

1.  Head to your RapidNode dashboard.
    
2.  Select "Nubit" and choose your desired rental duration and the number of Aethir licenses you want to delegate.
    
3.  Confirm your purchase by clicking “Buy Node”.
    
4.  Monitor the "Active Nodes" section to verify the deployment status.

### **Step 3 - Grab Your Keys**

Wait for the node to get Deployed. Once your Aethir node shows as “Deployed” on RapidNode, click on the “🔑 “ icon in the right-most side of our subscription row to retrieve the following key information:

1.  **Address:** This is your Nubit wallet address.
    
2.  **Seed Phrase:** This is your Nubit wallet seed phrase. Import your wallet using seed phrase in Keplr and make sure to add Nubit chain.
    
3.  **Public Key:** This is your Node’s public key. Keep it safe.

### **Step 4 - Claim Faucet & Participate in Nubit Tasks to Earn Points**

1.  Go to [alpha.nubit.org](https://alpha.nubit.org/#/) and click on “Connect Wallet”.
    
2.  Go to [faucet.nubit.org](https://faucet.nubit.org/) and input your wallet address to claim faucet tokens.
    
3.  Complete all the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Tasks.

### **Step 5 - Monitor Nubit Logs**

Go to the “Active Nodes” tab and click on the monitor icon to view your node logs.
