# Are we still in the Wild West with ETH, like the Internet was in 1996? What will it look like in 2030? **Published by:** [MysticNily (ratgeber.eth)](https://paragraph.com/@ratgeber/) **Published on:** 2022-03-26 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@ratgeber/are-we-still-in-the-wild-west-with-eth-like-the-internet-was-in-1996-what-will-it-look-like-in-2030 ## Content Hi, ratgeber.eth here. I've been in the crypto world since 2018. My original interest was in computer games and so for the last few years I've been mostly involved with Dapps (of all kinds). Then I grew interested in "real" business cases: staking, yielding, defi.... in the process I learned a new word: "patience", I think you know what I mean? For me, it's fascinating to see how Cyrpto & NFTs are changing the world. And hey, we are still at the very beginning. I compare all this to the internet in 1996 (Wild Wild West?) What do you think? Do you see a similarity here? Imagine where we are with crypto in 2030? Market capitalization? Defi 2.0? NFT as a 2nd personal identity? ENS as a general login and proof of identity? Well, let's discuss about your future ideas.... I look forward to hearing from you, ratgeber.eth ## Publication Information - [MysticNily (ratgeber.eth)](https://paragraph.com/@ratgeber/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@ratgeber/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@ratgeber): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/cn1dappstar): Follow on Twitter
