# Read Me: Another Newsletter, Yay > Ignore This And Stay Mid **Published by:** [Read Me](https://paragraph.com/@readme/) **Published on:** 2025-07-08 **Categories:** readme, farcaster, base, warpcast, degen, launch **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@readme/readme ## Content So. Read Me. What is it? Why are you here? Why am I doing this? Great questions. No easy answers. Let’s start with this: Farcaster moves too fast. And no, that’s not always a good thing. I’m here basically every day, and somehow I still feel like I’m late to everything. New Updates? Missed it. Viral Mini Apps? Gone. Someone launched a Clanker? Missed a 10x. Farcaster Rewards? Didn't make the cut. I tried keeping up. I did the Ambassadors newsletter daily for a few months. Then I did Farcaster Roundup for a few weeks. It was cute. Then I got burned out, touched grass, came back itching to write and create content again. Got hit with instant FOMO. “Why is everyone making vertical vids?!” FOMO. At some point I realized:no one’s going to hand you everything. if you want something, build it yourself.So... I'll try.So what even is Read Me?It’s my "sudden urge to make content + why am I doing this??" energy turned passion project, turned read me. Also: my attempt to actually proliferate the Farcaster ecosystem, because something something sufficiently decentralized. Here’s what you’ll find (did you miss the word roadmap???):spotlights – projects, builders, miniapps, weird bots, etc. that deserve more than a likeguides – for things you pretend to know, or actually want to learn, or need to send to a confused friendfarcaster updates – semi-weekly. not daily. i’m not trying to be your feed. just enough to keep you relevant in the groupchattakes – when I can’t keep my opinions in the draftslinks – filtered, fun, frequently feralAnd yeah, read me might look like clickbait. Because it is. But it’s ethical clickbait. Curated clickbait. Why Bother?Because the feed is chaos. Because cool casts shouldn’t vanish under six memes and a random birthday post. Because context is hard to find, and harder to keep up with. Because I wanted something like this, and couldn’t find it all in one place. So I made it. Not the only version. Just my version. If you’ve ever said:“Wait, that launched?” “Tony Soprano's favorite word is Gabagool??” “Bro, what even are mini apps?” "Who is Dan Romero?"Read Me is for you. Or maybe it’s just for me. That’s fine too. Either way, you opened the file. See you in the next drop. Or not.
