**什么是 ZETA？**

ZetaChain 的代币 ZETA 用于支付 ZetaChain 智能合约的 gas 费用，另外还用于通过绑定/质押/削减来保护 PoS ZetaChain 区块链。ZETA 也是 ZetaChain 的跨链转移、交换、消息传递和安全的核心。ZETA 是最早跨多个链和层发行的多链硬币之一。

我们使用自己的代币 ZETA 来代表价值跨链，因为：

*   与更常见的双向挂钩不同，没有包装，因此没有相同基础资产的多重表示。
    
*   唯一可以跨链的（原生）价值是通过 ZETA 硬币，它大大减少了攻击面，从而更容易理解审计，因此更高的安全性。例如，我们可以在合约铸币厂检查总供应量。
    
*   用户可以在一个步骤/捆绑中为 ZetaChain 提供的跨链服务和目标链上的 gas 支付 ZETA。
