Of course, I was immediately suspicious, but still had to check it out. Upon following through to the project’s channels, I came to realise that the free mint was simply the first phase, a way to get the name out there. After seeing that it was also a project promoting wildlife conservation, I saw no reason not to jump in and mint my own.My Everyday Sloth, Beckett (#458)The Everyday Sloths is a project built by two Aussie web developers and is officially partnered with The Sloth Conservation Foundation (SloCo). From each NFT sold, the project commit a donation of 7 $MATIC or US$10, whichever is higher, to SloCo. Additionally, as part of the partnership, everyone who purchases one of the NFTs is entitled to claim a virtual adoption package of their sloth. At this point, I’ve only covered the charitable connection of the project, but there’s also the actual art aspects to consider. When you get an Everyday Sloth, you can connect it to ‘The Jungle’, where you can customise it with different wardrobe items, download it as a phone / smart watch background, and use it as your PFP. There are also some other planned features that I’ll let you explore for yourself. Ultimately, the Everyday Sloths are a fun little NFT project supporting a great cause. If you’re interested in exploring it any further, go ahead and check out their website! If you like what you read, go ahead and follow me here, or check out my Twitter and DeSo profiles to stay up to date with what projects I explore. ## Publication Information - [RealAqua](https://paragraph.com/@realaqua/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@realaqua/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@realaqua): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/aquathickshell): Follow on Twitter
