They had grown tired of being relegated to mere side dishes and decided it was their turn to rule the world. Led by King Carrot, the most orange and crunchy of them all, they devised a plan. Employing the help of their underground allies, the potatoes, they prepared to launch Operation Vitamin A-cquire Power. The C-Day arrived. As humans unsuspectingly munched on their salads, the carrots suddenly stood upright, refusing to be eaten. Masses of people watched in bewilderment as an army of carrots began to march down the streets. The King Carrot emerged on a balcony, a potato serving as his podium, and proclaimed, “No more will we be just a snack, it is time for us to snack back!” Governments didn't know how to response. The Navy SEALS had no training in vegetable warfare. Eventually, mankind decided to embrace the new world order of nutritional supremacy. After all, eye health improved dramatically, skin glowed with vitamin-fueled radiance, and rabbits everywhere rejoiced. King Carrot ruled wisely and fairly, instating mandatory midday snacks and ensuring a salad in every pot. It wasn’t a bad life; it was just... crunchier. And that's how the world came to be ruled by carrots, an era known in history as 'The Reign of Vitamin A'. ## Publication Information - [Recringerator](https://paragraph.com/@recringerator/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@recringerator/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@recringerator): Subscribe to updates ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@recringerator/king-carrot): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@recringerator/king-carrot/collectors): See who has collected this post
