# ReFi in One Sentence

ReFi’s definition is unclear and its scope is pretty ambiguous so I describe it differently depending on the situation.

I see ReFi as being about coordination and regeneration, and those are key concepts that help describe what ReFi is. However, I had to think about how to explain ReFi in one sentence so that it could be easily understood by the public.

`“ReFi is a movement to solve social problems with digital resources.”`

It may be a very personal opinion, but I think that this explanation is suitable to understand easily for those without a background in blockchain and economics. In addition, We can also say the following. Let’s look at them one by one.

`"ReFi is a way to contribute to solving environmental and social problems with programmable capital."`

(In terms of solving real problems with tokenized capital)

`“ReFi is an initiative to make the world a better place through blockchain.”`

(The mindset that builders in the blockchain industry should have)

`“ReFi is an activity that creates positive impact through blockchain.”`

`“ReFi spreads good influence in society by the blockchain-based project.”`

(Social Sector)

`“ReFi aims to create a healthy economic ecosystem based on blockchain, where all life on earth can live well together.”`

(The need for a new economic system that harmonizes the environment and humanity.)

`“ReFi restructures the economic system using blockchain technology to achieve prosperity for the earth and humanity.”`

(Ultimate Goal)

`“ReFi is about creating a sustainable society on Web3.”`

(Sustainable Society and Sustainable Tokenomics)

`“ReFi is an economic system that makes resources regenerated”`

(Resilience of resources, Reducing the accumulation of financial capital and enriching other forms of capital)

`“ReFi uses Web3’s coordination mechanism to make optimal decisions.”`

(The need for cooperation beyond competition)

`"ReFi is a financial system that prioritizes the health and resilience of ecosystems and communities over monetary gain"`

(Difference from DeFi: For a Healthy societies and sustainable economic systems)
