# Observations: #1 **Published by:** [renstern.eth](https://paragraph.com/@renstern/) **Published on:** 2023-01-22 **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@renstern/observations-1 ## Content From “skill-based mints” to fantasy basketball to AI-chicken lead, interactive storytelling, utility around NFTs is become more sophisticated and easier to understand. Value is being driven by immediate experiences as opposed to speculation around future utility and financial returns. A focus on ownership as opposed to purely the existence of a capital market for digital goods will be the driving force for a new wave of excitement around NFTs. Yes, the world of Web3 does include the securitization of everything, but the securitization of everything doesn’t matter unless the underlying security can generate real world value. A new generation of tokenized access passes being created by leaders from the traditional creative world: fashion, art, literature and more. I’m excited to how these projects are able to reshape the perceptions around NFTs that has been sullied by the last year of overambitious promises and outright bad behavior. Building in a bear market is more exciting than ever. More to come next week. ## Publication Information - [renstern.eth](https://paragraph.com/@renstern/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@renstern/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@renstern): Subscribe to updates
