Drawing inspiration from projects like SafeCast, we can approach the challenge from three core perspectives: Hardware, Software, and Community. Questions the Open Movement Should Ask:How can we design hardware with transparency, ensuring that devices can’t be secretly compromised? How can we leverage open-source software to develop secure, customisable communication systems that protect against remote hacking? How can we empower communities to audit and secure their own devices, creating trust through decentralised participation? What ethical frameworks should guide the use of open security technologies to prevent their misuse? How can we foster collaboration between communities, developers, and hardware producers to ensure long-term security for all? ## Publication Information - [The respair project](https://paragraph.com/@respair/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@respair/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@respair): Subscribe to updates ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@respair/lebanon-explosions): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@respair/lebanon-explosions/collectors): See who has collected this post
