I'm a child left on the monastery's threshold. it was a freezing blizzard day in winter, they told me that i was almost died when they found me. no one thought i could be survived. but thanks god. I didn’t die. that was the first time i beat my destiny. and i know it wouldn’t be the last time.

i don't know if my parents are live or not and why they abandoned me. no matter for what reasons, i can’t forgive them. I was raised by monks in the cloister. They treated me as their child. they taught me skills for living and protecting our neighbors and community from monsters or tyrants. sometimes they’re strict. and sometimes they’re easygoing. I spent my formative years with them, they made me feel that i had a home. also i had several friends and my childhood was generally a happy one.

I learned the magic of Ki. which is the element that flows through living bodies. I harness this power within myself to create magical effects and exceed my body physical capabilities. also i learned what was right and wrong from my master who’s the head of the monastery.

One day my master told me to visit nearby village to buy some food. When i got back. everything changed. I saw big fire and dark smoke covered the whole monastery, the windows were smashed. I saw blood everywhere. I crashed into the fire, all of people are killed by someones. I can’t believe what happened. i had no time to be sad. I dragged the bodies out of the cloister. i don’t know who murdered them and why they did it. But i know they ruined my whole life. I lost everything - my home, my friends, my master. going it alone was all i could do right now. before i leave, i needed to find a place to bury them. i saw there’s a letter in my master hand, I read the letter and found out that it’s written by my parents. they left this letter with me years ago. and the letter said: i could follow the map to find them when i grow up. but unfortunately the map already fired.

I left the cloister and become a wanderer. Those question drive me to go further to find the answer.
