It was my first time attending a web3 event in person, and I was amazed by the sheer energy and enthusiasm of everyone in attendance. After spending a few days in Denver, I came away with some insights.

1. **Opportunity in gaming assets interoperability**

    * The launch of the MetaMask SDK in the Unity Asset Store is a step towards achieving gaming assets interoperability as it allows for greater gaming assets liquidity and exchangeability.

2. **Web3 designers need to grow tech/product understanding**

    * Many of the “UX challenges” in web3 cannot be solved through design alone and are often rooted in tech limitations. While this can make it challenging for designers to enter the space, it also creates an opportunity for those who have a solid grasp of the technology and web3 product logic.

3. **AI can help with Web3 user’s onboarding & growth**

    * ChatGPT and conversational AI can play a key role in onboarding users to web3 by simplifying complex interfaces (ex. DeFi, Exchanges) and allowing users to describe what they want to do in natural language.

    * Conversational AI has the potential to drive community engagement and adoption by guiding and boosting conversations in web3 communities.

4. **Some tech issues (ex. internet connection) can be a challenge to UX and adoption**

    * To onboard the next billion users to web3, it's important to address connectivity challenges and other potential obstacles. The poor internet connection at ETHDenver is a reminder that technical issues can create significant barriers to adoption.

5. **Hacker community, real person connection**

    * Emphasis on personal connections and collaboration among builders and hackers. This community-driven approach contrasts with the often anonymous impression of crypto punks.

My time at ETH Denver 2023 was an incredible opportunity to connect with others in the web3 space and understand the challenges and opportunities better.

Moving forward, it will be exciting to see how these insights ctranslate into new products, collaborations, and innovations that continue to push the boundaries of what's possible with web3.
