# Phase 1: The Wanderer

My name is Peter, I am an artist in Maine. I started my journey back in 2018 when I first got my art studio, in the heart of down town. I was super excited because I always loved making new things and being that creative soul that I feel inside. I started out as a painter, and then over time I evolved and more mixed media into the style. One of my first series of paintings was called "The Wanderer". It was a series of paintings where I added a little figure of a person into them. The concept was for the viewer to imagine themselves being that little person, and imagine what the view point of what they were seeing within the painting.

I have always been about exploring the idea of one perspective. I strongly believe when you change ones perspective, you change ones world.

So just like that little figure in my painting exploring a new world. I am exploring here in this new world of Base 🟦 and playing with the tools that are here I have never been a social media influencer nor had the desire to become one. But when I found the Base App something inside me said "Do It". Jesse did say Base is for builders. I just happen to be a different kind of builder. I am a builder of my own reality.

If I am going to expand my horizons and try to become an influencer. I want to do it my way. I want to talk about the subjects that interest me. I want to express myself by showing off the art I do, and talking about the ideas and concepts that I have. I am excited to see where this journey takes me.

I truly hope you find joy in following me on my journey. One of my goals I life is to have an impact, either small or large.
