Probably by now you have read a lot of articles telling you all the steps you need to do in order to reach 100 followers and therefore apply to the Medium Partner Program. Did you know that in the past this wasn’t a requirement at all!? It’s a little unfair that new writers need to do this extra step to get paid for their work. I was thinking what if we build a writers community where we support each other!? We all are here for the same reasons after all. We all want to succeed, we all want to earn money, we all want to be part of a community that can support each other. So… let’s do it! Three simple steps. 1) Let’s follow each other. Follow me, I’ll follow you back. Never unfollow. 2) Read my story. Clap for my post, and I will clap for your work too! 3) Comment letting me know and other writers you’re now part of this community. I will respond and clap! Once I get 100 followers, I promise you I’ll create a Publication called “The 100 Followers Community” and there, all the members of our community will be able to post any story we want [following Medium’s rules of course] and will support each other by following, and clapping. Every new member will have to follow the ones already inside the community, and “the old ones” will need to follow the new ones to welcome them. What do you think!? Sounds good to you!? Perfect!
