Originally created in 2021 this remake has become an instant classic reggae tune for the new generations. RootCee is bringing this music to the blockchain and web3. Black Roses is one of the most well-known roots reggae songs in the world and while many associate it with cannabis the story is that the song was originally created about a woman. Upon discovering this my mind began to go back and meditate on the words of the song and instantly I felt inspired to make my own Rendition. Produced from scratch by RootCee, written entirely by RootCee, mixed and Dub’d by RootCee and boom “Blaq Rose” was re-created. This is the second remake in a different key with different instrumentation and all of the vocals were recorded in one take by RootCee. This recording was created specifically for the blockchain This will be the first official single release by RootCee onto the Blockchain that doesn’t include a dub. Although a dub was mixed for this song this is a single and the dub will be released on a later date. This song will be released on Sound.xyz due to their exclusive focus around music NFTs and features that benefit both the artist and the collector while at the same time making it an attractive new type of investment for anyone interested. This artwork as well was generated the same way as the actual NFT artwork, but with added context and features to make it extra special.
