# EtherFi have announced a mega week

More about the project in this post, but a reminder that this is a liquid steaking protocol that has raised $5.3 million from Arrington XRP Capital, North Island Ventures, and others.

Last night, the team announced a mega week where 3 million EigenLayer points will be distributed.

2 million points will be distributed to new stakers between January 31 21:00 Moscow timeframe and February 10 21:00 Moscow timeframe. Points will be distributed proportionally to your steak at the rate of 100 points per 1 ETH. Also those who manage to steak in the first 20k ETH will get a bonus.

❗️Если you will antstake eETH or move it somewhere, the points will not be counted.

🤔 Throw liquidity into EtherFi

The 1 million points will be distributed to existing stakers. In addition to EigenLayer points, existing stakers will get x2 boost to farming Loyalty points.

Let me remind you that the token is planned for March this year and the points can play a major role in the distribution of rewards.
