In Rove world, users can see the upper torso part of the avatar, at the moment without any limb mobility. Until full-body avatar integration is made, complex limb movements and in-world mobility are not yet required. Just recently updated, Rove dev team has animated the movements of a mouth, a slight head shake, and eye blinking when a microphone picks up the user speaking, to bring additional expressivity.

In the future, after fundamental blocks in the development are implemented such as basic hangout functions (screen-sharing, interactive objects, and minigames, spatial, etc), NFT marketplace and wallet integration, full-body avatar integration will be considered. In a full-body avatar, sensors replicate the entire body’s movements through a complex kinematics system. As a result, users have greater freedom of mobility inside the virtual world and can use all limbs to interact with digital assets like NFTs, in-game skins.
