**The Daily Spin.** _Meek Monday Edition._ With the BTFP “stealth quantitative easing” of $4.4T dollars underway, one can only feel for the sorry buggers that were caught up in the flare-up of what was certainly the beginning of a systemic banking meltdown – now delayed further away as the FED turns that money-printer back on. And yes, it went **“Brrrrrr”**

People got to keep their jobs. The FDIC was able to insure all deposits for an unlimited amount of time. Bankers that were telling us that “it’s over” get to keep loaning out money to the FED and exchange it for cash to appease their depositors and their concerns. The largest Ponzi scheme in the history of mankind got another lifeline, kicked further down the block… where it will again, be kicked further down the block. But not if the BRICS nations have anything to say about it…

NASDAQ announces that it will launch a crypto custody service for BTC, ETH in 2023, inaugurating their official digital assets arm. I wonder if the SEC would consider that to be a security? Tim Draper and hundreds of LPs in VC firms tell their businesses to diversify their treasuries after SVB collapse, even going so far as to advice Bitcoin as an alternative safe harbour. Charles Hoskinson is quick to point out the factors of money printing and fractional reserve banking – not crypto – for the current banking crisis. LBank gives a nice breakdown of Bitcoin’s recent price surge. Crypto scams and exploits down 71% YoY as only $370m is lost in January. And Greenpeace’s push for Bitcoin to go Proof-of-Stake becomes an instant meme on CT.

Dogecoin updates its dev tool suite, adding QR codes, moon phases and BIP-39 seed support among other advances. “Pooky” a sports prediction app launches its P2E game. Toshi tools launches market data app for crypto traders. Zipmex’s acquisition hits a road bump when its acquirer fails to make payroll. Coinbase indicates for the development of inflation-pegged “Flatcoins” on Base network.
