**The Weekly Spin.** _Thirteenth Edition._ The blue bird is dead. Long live the X! As crypto enthusiasts pile on to X-related coins, X-Ai, X-videos, pretty much X-anything; and take to the X app (formerly known as crypto-twitter) to publish numerous successes in X coin pump and dumps — stoking that greed and FOMO we’re all so adept at handling — a strong reminder stands to warn all those participating of the stark difference between memecoin aping and “responsible, profitable trading.” You don’t need that risk in your portfolio as long as you have carefully considered, well placed orders and executions with quality coins and projects.

Coinweb has been making strides with the infrastructure behind the wallet, with version 1.0.13 launched just yesterday. We are nearing the alpha tester release, and getting closer with each day that passes.

Some notable hacks occured this week, with CoinsPaid leading the pack for $37M lost, as well as Conic Finance and zkSync’s Eralend also suffering exploits. Even as data security remains a primarily unsettled score between Web2 and Web3 proponents, Sam Altman’s high-profile launch of Worldcoin (WLD) saw an unwarranted level of hype and participation from the general public, whilst Web3 natives are quick to point out the “bad tokenomics” of the project — and opinion leaders such as myself warn that we only have one set of biometrics; once te data is out of your control, you cannot change or reset your credential.

Last but not least, we had the FOMC meeting raise rates by 25 basis points and no longer predicting an impending recession. FedNow moves forward, and a US Congressman proposes a bill to ban CBDCs. World markets touched ATH’s then retraced, while Bitcoin and Ethereum continued to hold within the sideways range we’ve seen over the past month or so… here is our round-up of curated news and opinions (surely biased) from the world of Blockchain, keeping you informed into the market news with the most trending, in-the-know, and controversial topics.
