# Aesthetics of driveway-less houses

In a suburb of Vancouver and found it odd that most houses do not have driveways with a garage facing the front of the house. Instead, there are back alleys in between the main streets for a separate garage unit (also where the garbage truck drives through). I asked ChatGPT why this came to be:Aesthetically, I think it looks better/cleaner (cars are an overrated centerpiece of American culture).
