# ETH Denver 2023 Recap > --- **Published by:** [Trading The Metagame](https://paragraph.com/@ryan/) **Published on:** 2023-03-06 **Categories:** crypto **URL:** https://paragraph.com/@ryan/eth-denver-2023-recap ## Content Another standard crypto event. Lots of parties, and a few great moments/interactions with interesting people building things. My perspective is definitely a bit skewed as I stayed with 60+ others in a builder house sponsored by EduDAO. Got to talk to amazing builders from all around the world working throughout the night on their companies and hackathon projects. My takeaways:shared security, zero-knowledge are the dominant narrativeseverybody is building "infrastructure"the main event is a formality -- the side events are where it's ateverybody knows what EigenLayer is nowAptos and Sui have a ton of money, but there seem to be very few Move devs (at least that attended their events) David's takeaways, which I agree with: david phelps 🐮🏰🃏 @divine_economy takeaways ethdenver: 1. everyone is building on the evm because it’s the access point to the multichain future. it’s won. 2. anyone who cares about consumer use cases cares about arweave. 3. there are still no consumer use cases for crypto, and nobody seems to care 481 1:39 PM • Mar 3, 2023 ## Publication Information - [Trading The Metagame](https://paragraph.com/@ryan/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@ryan/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@ryan): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/ryanchern): Follow on Twitter ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@ryan/eth-denver-2023-recap): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@ryan/eth-denver-2023-recap/collectors): See who has collected this post
