# Help Us Improve the Safecast Map!

With over 250 million radiation data points collected over 15 years, Safecast has built one of the most comprehensive open-source environmental datasets in the world…and **_now we want to make it more useful for learners_**!

We’re [gathering feedback](https://forms.gle/FmnVc8Ge3PSHQR3TA) on how the current [Safecast Radiation Map](https://map.safecast.org) can better support students and self-guided learners who want to understand citizen science and take a more active role in monitoring their own environments, without relying solely on governments or institutions for that information.

Your input will also help shape two tools currently in development: a redesigned, simplified map, and an AI-powered data query assistant. A few minutes of your time could help make these resources serve curious minds around the world better for years to come.
