# Spiritual Guide or Angry Bird?

Two days ago, a bird flew into the big glass doors of my living room. I didn’t think much of it, birds fly into glass windows all the time. Whatever.

Then, the next day, a very similar-looking bird flew into the same glass door again, but this time, it seemed more under control. The bird came up to the window, pecked at it a few times, then flew onto a nearby tree branch, only to come over and peck a couple more times before flying away. I went out to see if there was a nest up there or maybe some bugs, but nothing. Weird.

This morning at 11 AM while eating two burgers and a sweet potato (trying to keep myself on my toes), another very similar-looking bird does the same thing. It flys up to the door under control and pecks at it for a while, then sits in a tree right outside the glass. They do this three or four more times and leave.

By the second or third time, i’m convinced this is something bigger than a reflection in the window.

I open Chat GPT to find out if there is any significance to a bird tapping on a window repeatedly and of course, it's associated with all sorts of spiritual superstitions and stories. Abnormal animal activity, especially when it seems non-malicious towards humans, has always been associated with spiritual messages.

If the bird is just coming and tapping on the window and leaving, it could symbolize that something in your life needs attention—perhaps a decision, an unresolved issue, or a shift in direction. It could also be a positive symbol, indicating the path you are on is a solid one, working to reassure any unsure thoughts.

Other traditions associate them with loved ones, ancestors, or a deeper subconscious awareness trying to break through.

In the worst cases, these encounters could be associated with bad omens, indicating a death in the family or some turmoil ahead.

It also states the more realistic reasonings: the bird saw its reflection and was feeling territorial. It was flying by and didn’t see the glass. It saw something inside it wanted to put its beak around. Im not buying it.

My life lately has been filled with questions and changes. I have been trying to rework my mind. I am trying to be more aware of my surroundings and spend more time in meditation after listening to the telepathy tapes. These thoughts immediately led me towards this bird phenomenon being important.

I have been searching for a new job. Maybe this bird is repeatedly pecking on my window, to tell me not to apply to that B2B SaaS sales job.

Maybe it's a past family member trying to tell me to continue working hard and that success will follow.

For those who know me, you know I’m not superstitious. Just a little sticious. But with the state I’m in lately I am fully ready to accept some spiritual messaging from a bird.

So I put my boots on and head into the jungle that is my current front yard. I listen for some chirps and park myself right at the base of a tree they are coming from.

I sit and meditate for a while which leads me to relocate. Somethings off. I end up sitting on this homemade woven platform with a bamboo base. While lying with my eyes closed I hear a bird land above me. It's one of them, carrying something in their mouth. They wiggle inside the bamboo and what do you know, there is a nest in there. Naturally, this settles my thoughts a bit. Chances are this bird was just feeling territorial and saw its reflection. I went and put up some blue tape just to make sure they won't hit their head anymore.

I then sit and mediate a bit more there was no spiritual revelation today. Unfortunately, a bird did not come to my subconscious and deliver me a quest. But one interesting thought did come to my mind.

There is simply no way to know if this bird was a messenger. However, its presence did do a job. It got me thinking. It got me willing to accept guidance. It got me to head into the woods and ground myself through meditation. It got me to reflect on my life.

Was that its purpose? is it just a random bird and i’m the weirdo running into the woods trying to have birds talk to me? We will never know.

What I do know is after today ill be spending much more time being observant to the world.

I will also be building a birdhouse on Sunday. Pics on my X.
