# Introducing EGOBLOX

I love crypto because I own my funds and can make transactions anytime. That's right, the blockchain never sleeps, neither does it close at weekends!!

Unfortunately, not all wallets can perform transactions and pay basic bills at the same time. Well don't fret...EGOBLOX is here to save the day.

What is EGOBLOX
---------------

EGOBLOX is a platform that creates a smart wallet for you, and allows you to buy not only crypto, but also pay for bills such as airtime and electricity.

So what makes it different from other platforms?? Because it's a telegram mini-app!! Isn't that simplicity at its peak? Walk with me as I show you the features of this platform..

Smart Wallet
------------

EGOBLOX offers you a smart wallet for you to receive crypto and also pay bills. You can receive or fund your smart wallet with Base Eth, USDC and DAI. To create your smart wallet:

1.  Click on wallet, then create wallet to get your smart wallet. I picked Coinbase wallet instead of standard wallet

2.  Then set your 4 digit pin that you will use to do transactions. Then you'd be shown your smart wallet address. You can import wallet, fund wallet, check balance and reset wallet, but you cannot export wallet. Why? cause it's a smart wallet.
    

Paying Bills
------------

Like I said earlier, you can pay bills with EGOBLOX. There are only options for airtime, data and electricity bills. To pay for airtime,

1.  From the menu, click on bills, then click on buy airtime
    
2.  To buy airtime, type /airtime amount phone\_number token as seen in the image below

3.  Input your wallet pin, and then you'd receive a text message and the transaction receipt and hash as shown in the image below

For now, you can only purchase airtime, but soon you'd be able to buy data, electricity and other utility bills.

Buy Crypto easily with Naira
----------------------------

Rather than going through the hastles of p2p on Centralised exchanges, easily buy crypto on EGOBLOX. To do so:

1.  On the menu, click on buy crypto
    
2.  It will then direct you to the yellow card app as seen in the image below

3.  Sign into your yellow card account, and if you don't have one, you can easily click on create an account.
    
4.  Fund your yellow card account with your bank card, and then choose the amount of naira you want to pay for crypto with a fair current rate. Then your account would be funded instantly.
    
    Also, if you already have crypto in other wallets, simply click on fund wallet, copy your smart wallet address and send crypto from your other wallet to it instantly. Remember, you can only fund your smart wallet with Base ETH, USDC and DAI for now.
    

Send Crypto Quickly to Loved ones
---------------------------------

We are in the Christmas season and you'd definitely want to send gifts to them. Instead of sending money the normal way, why not send them crypto and they receive it immediately. How?

1.  From the menu, click on send token
    
2.  Type /send amount token address or basename or telegram username as seen in the image below

3.  After doing step 2, the transaction would be done in less than 2 minutes, and you will receive the transaction receipt and hash which you can confirm on the Basescan explorer as seen in the image below

Wasn't that quick and easy? And being able to use basename or telegram username instead of the traditional wallet address is a top-tier feature.
