We had a Basesome week and here's all that happened. Onchain Writers Contest ----------------------- We kicked off with the announcement of our Onchain Writers Contest which was designed to spotlight projects building on base. The prompt for the contest was that each writer should pick a project on base (we referred them to the base registry) and give a review about the project by using......that's right, an existing Onchain writing tool! They would use Paragraph or Mirror to create the review, then make a post on twitter with the link to the content, and tag the project, Basenomads and Jesse Polack. By participating in the contest, they are using base products, using Onchain tools to create review and encouraging more people to come Onchain. [Here's the announcement post](https://x.com/Basenomadss/status/1850782672919965808) Ep9 of The Base Series (Post Buildathon) - Product Building and Marketing ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usually, we host the The Base Series space every Wednesday by 1pm GMT +1 where we discuss about things happening on Base. On this episode, we decided to discuss about how to keep building your product and how to market it post Buildathon. We had Kweenwealth, a Brand & PR Manager, Robinho.eth, the Marketing Lead of Assetchain and Anonofweb3, a seasoned Marketing Strategist as our speakers. The space was a major enlightenment to builders and they decided to implement the strategist dropped by our esteemed speakers. [Here's the recording of the space](https://x.com/Basenomadss/status/1852278199616491866) Community Partnership for the Lagos Onchain Summit 2024 ------------------------------------------------------- We secured a Community Partnership as one of the communities to provide value and support the upcoming Lagos Onchain Summit 2024. We would be live at the event and we would do our best to make the event one to remember. [Here's the announcement post](https://x.com/LagosOnchain/status/1852071583738925170) Ep4 of The Meet up Series - Decentralisation and Community Building ------------------------------------------------------------------- Every Friday, we host The Meet Up Series, where we invite projects building on base to meet with the community and form a bond to grow the project. But instead, we decided to have a conversation about decentralised communities, how the existing ones have been functioning and ow to build new ones or fix existing ones. We had Chocs who is the founder of the NSG community and Web3 Nigeria Community as our esteemed speaker. The space was an insightful one and two.based projects were present to also debate on the topic. Our community is growing steadily and organically. We are doing our own part to achieve the Onchain Vision. These are the activities and events done by Basenomads.
