But the origin story of $MILO dates back all the way to 2023, when NickySap announced the first iteration of $MILO – $DVDOGE. Based on Nicky’s real-life dog, Milo, $DVDODGE was launched on the Ethereum network with the intention of exploring the unique dynamics of the memecoin market. However, as life took over, and interest faded, NickySap put the memes to the side to focus on other projects. It wasn’t until March, when Nicky discovered Farcaster and the vibrant Scenecoins thriving on Warpcast, that he decided to relaunch his meme experiment. Based on my Pomeranian by the same name, this hybrid NFT/DeFi project is a Farcaster native, in-frame gamified minting experience that will unfold over the next two years. The $MILO token will initially be offered solely through an in-frame bonding curve, increasing linearly after each purchase. To adopt a BabyMilo, users must hold and stake at least 200,000 $MILO tokens (0.015E at the bottom of the curve). Up to ten speakers will adopt a brand new BabyMilo every week until 1,000 BabyMilos have been adopted. The 200k $MILO is automatically debited from the minter’s account and added to the Treasury. After adoption, each BabyMilo NFT can be staked to earn more $MILO. This all happens in a single Farcaster Frame.
