# Rebase Crowdpools and building with Empire Builder

What is Rebase?
===============

Rebase is a permissionless protocol on Base that allows token communities to launch LP Staking Incentive Campaigns. These campaigns reward liquidity providers for staking Uniswap V3 LP position NFTs — and with Crowdpools, anyone can create or fund a campaign to support the token ecosystem they love.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through:

Wait, What’s an Empire?
-----------------------

An Empire is your onchain community — a programmable token-based identity, leaderboard, and reputation system all rolled into one. Powered by EmpireBuilder, it lets you coordinate incentives, reward your supporters, and track contributions over time.

At its core:

An Empire = A smart contract + A community + A token-powered game of coordination.

Whether you’re building a new or existing meme coin movement, a protocol-native crew, or a vibes-first experiment — Empire Builder gives you the rails to do it onchain. You can start your Empire with its own token and built in liquidity using Empire Builder, or by entering a token address and following the instructions on the [empirebuilder.world](http://empirebuilder.world) site.

What’s a Crowdpool?
-------------------

A Crowdpool is a public fundraising pool for launching a Rebase LP Staking Incentive Campaign.

Anyone can:

*   Create a Crowdpool for a token on Base.
    
*   Contribute tokens to help reach a minimum funding threshold (0.5% of the total token supply).
    
*   Deploy the campaign once it’s funded (as long as you’re the creator).
    

Once deployed, the Crowdpool becomes a live rewards campaign, paying users who stake eligible LP position NFTs until it runs out (minimum 30 days).

How to Create and Deploy a Crowdpool
------------------------------------

### Step 1: Create a Crowdpool

1.  Visit the \[Rebase App\](rebase.finance) and select the “Create” button from the homepage.
    
2.  Then Enter:
    
    *   The contract address of the token you want to support
        
    *   The duration of the campaign
        
3.  Click Create — this initializes the pool (but doesn’t launch it yet)

### Step 2: Fund the Crowdpool

*   Anyone (including the creator) can contribute tokens before deployment
    
*   Simply:
    
    1.  Select how many tokens you want to add
        
    2.  Confirm the transaction in your wallet
        

You can remove your tokens any time before deployment — but only from the wallet that added them.

⚠ Note: Contributing tokens does not make you eligible for rewards — only LP stakers earn those.

### Step 3: Deploy the Campaign

Once the Crowdpool holds 0.5% of the token’s total supply, the creator can deploy it:

1.  Reopen your Crowdpool
    
2.  Click “Deploy Campaign”
    
3.  Sign the onchain transaction
    

Now it’s live — and users can begin earning token rewards by wrapping and staking their UniSwap V3 LP NFTs on Rebase.

Use Rebase LP Tokens to Boost Your Empire
-----------------------------------------

If you’re building a token-powered community on [EmpireBuilder.world](http://EmpireBuilder.world), Rebase LP position tokens can act as “boosters” to increase rewards for your holders.

### Setup Walkthrough:

Note: You can skip step 1 if you already have a pool.

1.  Go to Uniswap to setup a full-range V3 Liquidity Pool. Doing so will net you the LP NFT. This generates a reToken like reMYU/WETH.
    
2.  Go to Rebase to stake and wrap a full-range Uniswap V3 LP NFT for your token. This generates a reToken like reMYU/WETH.
    
3.  Copy the token address for that LP position — look for something like:
    
    Rebase Uniswap V3 $MYU/WETH LP 10000 fee
    
4.  Visit [EmpireBuilder.world/empire](http://EmpireBuilder.world/empire) and:
    
    *   Sign in with your wallet
        
    *   Select your Empire
        
    *   Scroll to Boosters → click “Add Booster”

1.  Choose:
    
    *   Type: ERC20
        
    *   Network: Base
        
    *   Paste in the Rebase LP token address
        
    *   Input:
        
        *   The minimum token amount required (e.g., 250)
            
        *   A multiplier (up to 5x) — this is how much more Empire Points stakers will earn
            
        *   \*\*Reminder: LP Tokens are not able to be swapped for, however Rebase makes it easy to create the right pool on the page that hosts your deployed pool.
            
2.  Submit → Sign the wallet transaction
    
3.  Refresh the Empire page — your booster should now show up!

### How do holders of my token participate?

The best place to instruct your holders to go is the Rebase website. Sharing the url for your rewards site is a sure fire way to set you and your holders up for success. Rebase includes a tool that lets anyone with a wallet and tokens set up an open range UniSwap V3 Liquidity Pool on the landing page that is setup to be the host of your rewards pool.

### Result:

Now, anyone who:

*   Provides full-range LP for your token is rewarded with fees from UniSwap.
    
*   Wraps and stakes their position on Rebase is rewarded from your crowdpool.
    
*   Holds some of the underlying token can reap the benefits of the booster multiplier you use.
    

That means more incentives for your most valuable contributors — and deeper liquidity for your token.
